- From talented Austin artist and printmaker Carolyn Kimball come these handcrafted tea towels, each one depicting imagery inspired by the natural Texas environment.
Three towels depict native Texas desert plants: the Ocotillo; the Prickly Pear; or the Blue Agave.
Representing Coastal Texas are the Sandpiper, the Sand Dollar, and the Sea Coral.
Last in the group is the Texas Honeycomb Tea Towel, celebrating the hardworking honey bees of central and southeast Texas.
Each towel is available individually, and the desert plant and coastal Texas towels are available as a set of three (select "Tea Towel Bundle-Desert Plants or Tea Towel Bundle-Coastal Texas" above). All towels are made from 100% cotton fiber and screen printed by hand using non-toxic ink. At 22”x38”, their dimensions are generous, making these practical as all-around towels to assist you in a variety of creative kitchen endeavors.
Each of the designs began as watercolor sketches by Carolyn Kimball, a trained artist and Masters Degree printmaker. Carolyn personally handles all aspects of production, from design, to printing, to packaging in her Austin studio. This is a truly artisanal product.
These Texas-inspired tea towels make excellent gifts. They ship directly to you from the No. 4 St. James Texas Showroom in Austin, Texas. Three towel sets are packed in our proprietary raw Texas cotton fill.
